Acceptance

By accessing or using MimicBot ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mimicbot.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to crawl content you do not have the right to index, to generate spam or misleading chat responses, to circumvent rate limits or access controls, or to violate any applicable law or regulation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.

Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you downgrade or cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual property

MimicBot retains ownership of the platform, including all software, designs, and trademarks. You retain ownership of the content you crawl and the chat transcripts generated by your users. You grant MimicBot a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our data retention policy, except where retention is required by law.

Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MimicBot's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction placeholder], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction placeholder]. If you are a consumer in the EU, mandatory local consumer protection laws apply in addition to these Terms.
